inspiration
We found this sink at Lowes and we are planning on using it in our half bath. We have also chosen a white opaque subway tile for behind the sink and mirror that will go from floor to ceiling. I love the texture on the sink and the color inside is very close to the tile we'll be using behind it. The color combination is Lemongrass and Burnished Clay both from Behr. The mirror is a painted wicker frame from Marshalls/Home Goods. This room is a work in progress. We are waiting to do the tile for a couple of months and we won't do the sink and counter until the tile is done. The major debate of the half bath is whether we want a suspended cabinet or a cabinet that sits on the floor. If we do the latter than we will need to wait to do wood floors and that's not going to happen for quite some time. Hopefully we will suspend it from the wall.

just starting out
I'm not very good at this posting stuff and this is my first blog so please bear with me as I learn how to do it! I started this blog because so many people ask me what's going on with the house and what we've changed thus far. So here we are! We purchased the house on January 26, 2010 and we've slowly updated rooms. We were lucky enough to have a pretty blank canvas with a lot of potential! I will be posting pictures of before and after work as we finish things and hopefully will be able to impart wisdom to weary home owners that get frustrated with the never ending updating that is homeownership!
